In this world of constant changes,People are searching for something new everyday,starting from the home they live to the food they eat.Keeping this in mind,Swetha Agarwal started her own business of “Fondant Cake Baking.”She bakes unique cakes of various varieties.Making cakes with Fondant involves lot of struggles.She bakes eggless cakes where she overcame many obstacles to use all the ingredients in correct volumes and it happened only through multiple practicing techniques,patience and hardwork. She even paints on the cake which is an eye feast and ofcourse the taste feels like heaven.
Different kinds of Barbies,Jungle Book model cake, and many other cakes of customers choice are made within very lesstime with great taste. Passion is the key to Success according to her.Even the ingridients which are used are not available easily and she procures the needed ones from Mumbai,Calcutta and sometimes from online stories according to the order.She’s baking cakes since five years and every cake baking is like new experience.The fact about her is that she never took any classes for baking.She grew up from an amateur to a professional by watching YouTube channels,following television channels like TLC.The support she got from her home,fom her husband is always encouraging and the fact that there are very few people who makes fondant cakes motivated her.
Shwetha Agarwal now takes classes too in baking where she teaches techniques to bake different varieties of cakes and how to cost them accordingly.People from other states land in Vizag just to learn from her.Talking about how she got into baking,she said that it all started with her daughter’s birthday where she decided to make cakes on her own.The fondant cake which she ordered left her unsatisfied and from then,she started her business and never looked back till date.The cost of the cakes range from ₹900 per kg for a normal one and ₹1600 per kg for a fondant cake.The customer satisfaction level is 100% as she never failed to deliver on time and no order of her took morethan two days to deliver.The highest order she took,which is of a 6kg Cake was just made in a single day.She handles everything on her own at her home itself without taking help from anyone.Inlong run,Shwetha tells that her goal is to become a pastry chef with a higher diploma in a prestigious Institute abroad and continue her baking in India.
