Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu has spent his time in hectic schedule in Visakhapatnam as part of Grama Darshini program. He has visited Gudivada village of S Rayavaram mandal in Payakaraopeta constituency limits. Deputy chief minister, home minister and in charge minister for Vizag district Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa, Roads and Buildings minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, Education Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao, Vizag – East MLA Velagapudi Rama Krishna Babu, MLA Vangalapudi Anitha, MLC Pappala Chalapathi Rao, collector Praveen Kumar, rural SP Rahul Dev Sharma , village sarpanch N Venkat Raju and others have accompanied him during the tour.
‘I know very well that after the development of villages only state will develop in all fronts’ said Chandra Babu. Income of villagers can be increased by promoting village tourism. I have ordered the officials for issuing second pension in a single family’s ration card, if they are in deep troubles. My target is to give Rs 10,000 monthly income to all of my people in the state. Every poor person will be provided with own houses under NTR Housing Scheme. Andhra Pradesh is the only state in India for completing 18,000 km of CC Roads in rural areas and providing employment to the labor with Rs 200 daily wages under NREGS. My government is taking the responsibility of marrying off the daughters of SC, ST and Minority families, exclusively in the country, he added.
Chandra Babu inaugurated digital classrooms in the village and inspected midday meal scheme along with collector Praveen Kumar and MLA. He personally inquired the supply of eggs and cereals with the cooks and students. He has sanctioned disability pension to Choppa Devi on spot with the request of Sadhikara Mitra Shesha Ratnam. He disbursed check worth Rs 3.15 crores to 62 self help group members of Gudivada Cluster on the dais.
