AP Government’s prestigious project ‘e-Pragati’, the Andhra Pradesh State Enterprise Architecture, is a holistic and coherent framework designed to propel the state into a developed state by 2029 and country’s first state wide enterprise architecture initiative. With e-Pragati, Andhra Pradesh becomes a pioneer in India to establish state-wide enterprise architecture. e-Pragati is a mission focused approach and a framework, to galvanize the pan-government ecosystem by transcending boundaries, for designing and delivering services in a coordinated, integrated, efficient and equitable way that citizens and businesses demand and deserve, aimed to realize the Sunrise State.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu has presented awards to the heads of various units for effectively implementing e-pragati in their offices at a ceremonious program organized at Vijayawada. Visakhapatnam deputy transport commissioner S Venkateswar Rao has initiated a program for registering vehicles online within hours of the purchase on March 1st of 2016. In the same way online driving licensing system was also being implemented in Vizag from December 2017. Visakhapatnam office has registered more number of online transactions in entire Andhra Pradesh.
Almost all services of transport can be obtained from nearest commons service centers (CSC), Mee Seva, E –Seva and AP Online Centers without even visiting the office of road transport authority.
