The Students of Samata College have organized and celebrated Teacher’s Day in the College premises. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr S Vijaya Ravindra, Principal and Executive Council Member of Andhra University, have advised all the faculty members to dedicate their services for the development of students and in shaping them to contribute positively and productively to Society.

Guest of Honour, K Eswara Rao, Circle Inspector, MVP Colony police station advised the students to refrain from ragging and explained the consequences of Ragging and congratulated all the seniors in keeping Samata College, a ragging-free campus.

College Director Prof. B.Murali Krishna, Heads of various Departments and all the faculty members have activity participated in the various Indoor and Outdoor games organized by the StudentsLater on, Degree and PG Students presented very entertaining cultural programs.  All the students participated in the event with lot of enthusiasm and zeal.  The program ended with a happy note.

The program started with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries followed by the prayer song.  The Chief Guest of the function Dr.S.Vijaya Ravindra, Andhra University Executive Council Member and Principal of this College, addressed the students to congratulate the efforts of the students in making the function a grand success.  In this context she asked to prepare well for the semester exams, and get good results.  She also advised the students to utilize the placement and various facilities provided by the College and wished them good luck for their future endeavors.

The function was attended by the Director Prof.B.Murali Krishna, Heads of all UG Departments and Faculty Members. After the formal proceedings, Culture Events took place where girls and boys have shown their talent with foot tapping tracks.
