Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (Autonomous), VIIT, organized awareness program on Employability and Mentorship on 19-09-2018, Wednesday at Duvvada. J A Chowdary, IT Adviser and Special Chief Secretary for Government of AP participated as Chief Guest along with CEOs of eleven companies in the event. Chowdary has addressed the participants and said that students should think in Entrepreneurial direction to create employment for many students. He also highlighted that though students work in companies, they have to own responsibilities with entrepreneurial mindset to derive useful output. He also said that potential of youngsters is to be properly channelized by engaging them in right direction.
Dr Lavu Rathaiah, Chairman, Vignan Group participated in the event and spoke that students should understand social issues to become Entrepreneurs. He asked CEOs of various companies to set up their centers in Engineering Institutes to offer part time jobs to students during their course of study. Moreover Infrastructure and resources in campuses will be utilized optimum and students will get benefited as well. CEOs of various companies answered the queries posed by the students.
