Pinkathon, a brain child of Milind Soman, has started in 2012 making an impact on women’s life style and inspiring them to stay on the path of fitness. The event has begun in Vishakhapatnam since 2015, with a purpose to raise awareness towards women’s health and wellness besides raising awareness about breast cancer. Pinkathon event is on 27th October 2018, at Beach Road, Vishakhapatnam.
The Pinkathon poster for ‘Vizag Going Pink’- women only run, was inaugurated by AU Rector, Prof. Gayatri Devi, the Best teacher awardee, in Andhra University. ‘Women should be fit and women play a key role in shaping families into stronger ones, said Gayatri Devi.
On the occasion, the members of the organizing committee felicitated Gayatri Devi for receiving the Best Teacher Award from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu at Amravati as part of Teachers’ Day celebrations.
Vizag Going Pink is women’s initiative that believes in ‘fit women for fit families’. Vizag Going pink is a program as women’s health and fitness initiative, to raise breast cancer awareness among the women.
