The department of Computer Science & Systems Engineering, AU College of Engineering for Women, conducted a three day workshop from 3rd to 5th Oct, 2018 on “Cyber Security” in association with Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA). We had a valedictory session on 05-10-2018 AT 4:00 pm in the computer lab. The principal Prof. M. Pramila Devi , resource person Mr. Kriarth Y. Jhala , Digital Forensic Analyst , eSF labs ltd. , Zonal Manager of APITA Mr. K. Sridhar , District Manager of APITA Ms. K. Swetha, Head of the department  and convener of the workshop Prof. B . Prajna, coordinator Dr. B. Esther Sunanda, teaching staff and students attended the valedictory   function. 

Campus Placements by Hyderabad based company

Navaionics, A Garmin Company, Hyderabad has conducted Campus placements in AU College of Science & Technology on 4th & 5th October 2018. Total 128 students from M.Sc. Environmental Science, M.Sc. Physical Oceanography, M.Sc. (Tech) Geophysics, M.Sc. Marine Geophysics, M.Sc. Marine Chemistry, M.Sc. Geology, M.Sc. Tech Applied Geology, M.Sc. Geography, M. Tech Ocean Sciences, M Sc 5 yrs. integrated course in Geology of AU Campus have been attended for Placement drive. The Recruitment team conducts written test and short listed 26 students, for all 26 students they conducted technical Rounds and Hr Rounds and selected 13 candidates.

The Recruitment process was coordinated by Prof K. Basavaiah, Placement Officer, A.U College of Science & Technology and Supervised by Prof T. Vinoda Rao, Principal, AU College of Scienceand Technology. Prof. K. Niranjan, Registrar, Andhra University provided necessary facilities to conduct the campus placement drive.
