Andhra University has participated in the 14th FICCI ‘Edu Summit’ held at Vignan Bhavan, New Delhi from 30th October to 1st November 2018. While visiting the AU’s stall in the Edu Summit exhibition Shri Diptiman Das, Chairman, EdCIL explaining the AU’s position to Shri R. Subrahmanyam, Secretary, Higher Education, MHRD, Govt. of India, commented that AU is a favoured destination for many of the International Students as it occupies prominent position in NIRF rankings announced by MHRD, Govt.of India. Later Secretary Shri Subrahmanyam congratulated the Vice-Chancellor Prof.G.Nageswara Rao and Dean, International Affairs Prof.E.N.Dhanamjaya Rao for their efforts to attract many International Students across the globe to study in Andhra University.
Number of International delegates from Middle East, Africa, Israel, Portugal, Bulgaria, Singapore, Mangolia and SAARC and South East Asian Countries visited AU’s Stall and appreciated the AU’s efforts in academics and also sought Mutual Collaborations in R&D, students and faculty exchange programmes. Prof.Mallikarjuna Rao In charge of Siemens’s Lab, AU and Prof.Venkata Subbaiah, Dean, R & D also participated in the Edu Summit of FICCI, New Delhi.
