The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is all set to resume its Heli-tourism services in Vizag from December 28th during the Visakha Utsav.

Vizagites can once again enjoy taking joy-rides up in the sky! In what is seen as a move to add some holiday spirit to the air during the month of December, the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has decided to commence its heli-tourism services during the annual year-end festival Visakha Utsav.
The helicopter services, which would be open to the public from December 28th, had a mixed ride when they had been opened last year by the esteemed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The main reason attributed to its failure to draw crowds last year was the cost of the ride, which dented the initial euphoria of the people. Hopefully, this time around the VMRDA would work out a way to make the ride worth the high price being charged!
